Summary
CRB is a 42 LIHTC housing program in the heart of the medical district and only three blocks away from New Bo Entertainment District and four blocks from the downtown business district of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Designed in the HDG Brickstone architectural style with eight private entrances to apartments, this design is modeled after the Baltimore Brownstone urban look. This development blends seamlessly with the neighborhood’s historic charm while offering modern, energy-efficient living.
The amenities are significant for single and young families. Besides the general appliances, we have included a built-in dishwasher, microwave and in-unit washer and dryer. The apartment community also have bike rakes, storage areas, community room for private gatherings, on-site parking, a playground and video security.
The Cedar Rapids Brickstone has a relationship with Foundation 2, a youth supportive services organization working with youth aging out of foster care. This is our second community apartment complex where we have 5 units specifically assigned to support foster care youth in preparing them for independent living.
