Converting a 1935 commercial office building into 34 affordable and market- rate one and two bedroom apartments has provided the North Central city of Waverly, Iowa new opportunities to attract more workforce housing.  This renovation saved a beautiful limestone building with brass interior features through the rooms and apartments a new lease on life.  Facing the Iowa River and in the heart of Waverly, this project is another collaboration with co-developer Cohen-Esrey of Kansas.  We have preserved a unique art deco building in the heart of the Midwest and added valuable workforce housing in another thriving rural Iowa town.
